We’ve received numerous customer requests for a butterfly-themed cage, and we’ve listened carefully. This cage was developed from our original, patented butterfly design. However, identical copies appeared on the market before we officially released ours. To clearly distinguish our product, we delayed its launch to introduce thoughtful improvements.

After discovering that our design had been replicated, we purchased every butterfly cage available online. Unfortunately, they were all made from aluminum alloy. While aluminum may look similar to 316L stainless steel in images, the difference is obvious in person. Aluminum feels rough, has visible pores upon close inspection, and is easily damaged, prone to deformation, corrosion, and unsuitable for long-term wear. For these reasons, we entirely discontinued aluminum as a material choice in 2020.

To highlight the differences between our genuine version and imitations, we’ve introduced three important changes:

First, we changed the lock core color from gold to silver.

• The new design provides a cleaner and more harmonious appearance. This will likely become our standard going forward.

Second, we’ve reinforced the ring’s lock connection area.

• Unlike the CC11, the ring no longer moves or wobbles during wear. However, due to this reinforcement, this cage isn’t compatible with other ring types in our collection.

Third, our cage remains crafted from premium 316L stainless steel.

• This high-quality metal is used throughout our product line.

Please note: This cage comes with its own unique flat ring, designed specifically for this model. It is not compatible with any other rings in our collection.

The gap matches the CC11 at 0.39 inches (1 cm). The cage diameter is 1.69 inches (43 mm), slightly narrower than the CC11’s 1.77 inches (45 mm).
